    This is coming along so nicely. Don’t be afraid to let some of the orange brown ground flicker through, even in the final layers. Our tendency is to cover up all the canvas but sometimes the color mixture is just right when optically mixing with the ground.

    I really like your composition and how you incorporated the mirror to reflect yourself. The mapping of light and dark shades within your painting is refreshing and will really make your still life appear lifelike.

    I agree with Jenn. The detail of the fabric behind the bottle’s transparency makes the bottle realistic. The shadow on leaves is amazing too.
